"Brian, I wanted to take time and thank you
for everything that you have meant to the
success of our program. You truly are the
master of the mental game. Brian you gave us
the satisfaction of understanding that once
you have done everything you can that is in
your control to be prepared, to remove the
outcome from the equation and focus on the
process. That it is not about winning every
game, it is about being the best you can
possibly be. We learned how important that
is in baseball, when there are so many
things that do not go your way, to leading
up to an incredible moment, That is why you
play pitch to pitch... And that's when you
look back and you are satisfied with the way
things have gone. That is success! Thanks
for everything you have done for Tomball
baseball."
Rick Lynch
Head Baseball Coach

"Brian Cain is an instructor for us at The
University of Vermont and his students are
always talking about what he teaches in class.
He teaches and presents in a manner that keeps
you on the edge of your seat. His use of
videos, props, humor and stories make him one of
the top teachers of Applied Sport Psychology
today. If you need a key note speaker, or
someone to come in and help you to develop a
championship mind set Brian Cain is the one call
you need to make."
Dr. Declan A.J.
Connolly, University of Vermont Director of
Physical Education
"This was a great class, I learned so much! I am
a French teacher first coming from an educators
background, coaching is a second career for me
so this course focused more on skills and
information to help me become a better coach!
It has helped me organize my practices better
and given me tools to motivate my athletes to
become better players who have more confidence.
My motto is to have fun because tennis is a fun
life-long sport. I am going to use the 30
second drill in my French class. You have truly
developed a cross-educational influence with
your course - Bravo!"
Marie
George, High School Tennis Coach
"As a former
college athlete and now a teacher and coach,
I've listened to many people speak about
positive mental training and leadership. None
have held my attention as Brian Cain did. He has
a tremendous ability to keep student athletes
engaged through his energy and dynamic messages.
He instills techniques coaches and athletes can
utilize to be successful. Not only am I eager to
take what I learned from him to my teams, but
into my classroom and everyday life as well. The
training you get from Brian is invaluable and a
must for anyone looking to better him/herself on
or off of the playing field."
Nicole Chalmers, Basketball, Track & Field Coach
South Burlington High School, VT
"Brian Cain was introduced to me in December of
2005 in Houston, Texas at the Pitching Coaches
Bootcamp. I have over 21 years coaching
experience at the High School level. I attend
the ABCA each year. Over the years I have heard
numerous clinicians and motivational speakers. I
can honestly say Brian compares with the
best. He is exceptional. He is entertaining,
informative and a very passionate speaker. I
found myself time and time again thinking, this
guy is awesome. His use of video footage and
computer graphics was exceptional. He spoke on
the Mental Game, Team Chemistry and Goal
Setting. I would recommend Brian to anyone who
wants their team or program to reach the next
level."
Mark Thigpen
Baseball Coach/Silsbee High School, TX
Private Instructor
"I first met Brian Cain in Apeldoorn, Holland in
the summer of 2002 as he worked with local Dutch
baseball clubs on their players' mental game. I
was so impressed with his passion for teaching,
training and developing the players, I asked him
to teach a 10 week seminar for my Foothill High
School Baseball Program. What a great experience
for my kids! I know every coach, when asked,
will agree that the game we coach is a very
"mental" game, possibly 50%, 60%, maybe 75% or
more. The question then is, "How much time do
you spend working on the mental game of your
players in practice?" I promise you Brian Cain
will make a difference."
Vince Brown
Foothill High School, California
Athletic Director / Head Baseball Coach
"Coach Cain is a great teacher of the
fundamental aspects of the Mental Game. He is
an extremely knowledgeable and entertaining
presenter. If you are an athlete who wants to
improve your performance, Cain should be your
next call."
Ryan Cameron, Pitcher
Philadelphia Phillies, Professional
Baseball
"Brian Cain is an exciting young coach. If you
want to get to the next level, you need to start
on Brian's program...TODAY. He has the tools to
catapult your career. Don't wait. Start today."
Paul Reddick, Pitching Instructor
Professional Baseball Scout, Pittsburgh
Pirates Baseball
"Brian came highly recommended to me by several
coaches across the country. He was very
instrumental in the success of a very young team
(seven new starters) which earned the No. 1 seed
in the NCAA softball tourney. His presentation
of the mental game is excellent. Cain had my
team's attention the entire time."
Patrick Murphy, Head Softball Coach

"I was introduced to Brian through Coach Dave
Serrano from UC-Irvine at a time when our team
was in a "rut." We made the investment to bring
Brian on-campus for a weekend. There is no
doubt that it was quite possibly the best
investment we have made in our program in the
three years that I have been here. Although we
had done our best as a coaching staff to work
the mental game and preach the One Pitch at a
Time philosophy, having Brian come in and
present some of the same concepts in easier to
understand language, reinforced by his props and
videos, really set us apart from other programs
and gave our players something they could touch
and see for their mental routines and success.
What was amazing was the time Brian invested in
getting to know each of our players and coaches
BEFORE he came on campus. He was totally
invested in the success of each of our players.
I can promise you that we will continue our
relationship with Brian and it is not possible
for me to recommend him any more strongly to any
coach, athletic director, business, etc. Bottom
Line: He is a difference maker!"
Jim Schlossnagle, Head Baseball Coach
Texas Christian University
2010
Collegiate Baseball National Coach of the Year
"The mental side of the game was a critical
piece of our 2006 National Championship season.
Our players were able to consistently play well
and overcome a lot of adversity, both were a
direct result of the mental skills training we
did all year long. I am a member of the Brian
Cain Inner Circle and am constantly coming back
to his products for new ideas on the Mental
Game. If you are looking to take your program
to the next level, you should invest in what he
has to offer."
Ron Eastman, Head Baseball Coach,

“Brian, we talked on the phone a few weeks
back. My high school team was playing in our
league title game. We were the home team and
tied in the bottom of the 7th in one heck of a
high school game. We had a runner on 2nd with
one out and my biggest "Brian Cain project" at
the plate. He had struggled most of the
season. Before he got in the box he looked down
to me at 3rd. I simply took off my hat so that
he could see the under-bill of the hat. In big
letters under my name it just said FOCUS. He
smiled at me and on the first pitch got the game
winning hit. It was a pretty special moment for
all of us. Thank you for helping make me a
better coach and helping me to give our kids the
skills to be successful.”

"There are a lot of people who claim to be
"Performance Enhancement Consultants," "Sport
Psychologists," or "Masters of The Mental
Game." In my coaching career I have heard many
people present on The Mental Game of Baseball,
and I have seen first hand how critical the
Mental Game can be to winning in Omaha. Brian
Cain is one of, if not THE BEST Mental Game
presenters that I have ever seen. His
enthusiasm and energy are contagious. He has a
great way of reaching and catching the attention
of today's athlete to enhance their careers.
His use of videos and technology will keep you
and your players dialed in for the entire
presentation. He lives over 3000 miles away, but
stays in daily contact with our staff and
players through e-mail and instant messenger.
He has produced personal and team highlight
videos for our players, all through use of the
internet. If you want to take your program to
the next level, and give your team the best
chance for success at any level, you need to
call Brian Cain TODAY!"

"Brian
is a dynamic speaker and teacher when it comes
to the mental game of baseball. He has great
stories, presentations and practices that not
only promote individual mental toughness, but
also team toughness. He teaches you how to deal
with the constant adversity that arises in the
game and in life. I will definitely be using
some of his techniques not only with my pitchers
but in my every day life."
Marc Calvi

"I have been involved in amateur baseball
for over 30 years and Brian Cain is one of those
people that only come along every so often. He
is one of the most motivating, and educating
people I have ever met. His articles and
products are pure genius. If you are serious
about having success in baseball, you need to
contact Brian Cain. He is truly a Master of The
Mental Game and will help you to take your
performance to another level. Don't wait, call
today!"
Lou Pavolich Jr., Editor

"I was looking for a way to get an edge above
the competition, as most coaches do, when I came
across Brian Cain. Brian was the perfect edge I
was looking for. Over just a few short months of
using his program, I have seen amazing results
in the level of focus in not only the players,
but the coaches too. The overall attitude the
team now possesses is a great improvement from
where we were just a short time ago. They
believe they are winners in not only baseball,
but in life and that is what it is all about.
The system DOES WORK. I recommend to anyone
looking for something the other guys are not
doing, Brian Cain is that something."
Tony Boyer, Head Baseball Coach, Loris

"The Mental Game of Baseball is far and away the
most important aspect of the game. The Mental
Game is what separates the elite super stars in
the major leagues from the average Joes in the
minors. The problem is, most people don't know
where to begin when it comes to mental
preparation or mental training. Brian Cain does
a tremendous job in all of his products,
especially The Mental Game of Hitting DVD. I
watch the hitting DVD weekly, read Breakfast for
your mind every morning, and have loaded all of
his audio CDs onto my ipod to listen to on the
road. Cain's work has really helped me become
the player that I am today."
Matt Cusick
University of Southern California Trojans

"Brian,
I would also like to express my appreciation for
your efforts and your presence this weekend. I
thought the information and your presentations
were outstanding. We have touched on many of the
areas you discussed in years past, but have
never consistently with the entire team and not
with specific terminology. We now have a process
with consistent terminology that will be much
easier to remember and put into practice
throughout the year. Our players are excited
about routines you've begun to create as well as
the reasoning behind them. Thanks again for all
of your work over the weekend. I look forward to
learning more about the mental game and how we
can incorporate it into our practice sessions."
Mark Scalf, Head Baseball Coach
University of North Carolina, Wilmington
"Our coaching staff invested in implementing
Brian into our fall practice early in the year.
From the beginning Brian was committed to
establishing relationships with our players and
coaches. Brian presented the mental game to our
entire team in a high energy presentation,
addressed the position players and pitchers
separately specific to their control of the
game, then went to work with each player
one-on-one. Our players were quickly committed
to practicing one pitch at a time! It was
awesome to watch Brian work and watch our
players respond. Brian has been around the game
and knows the game he can relate to the players
extremely well. Many coaches, including myself,
feel like the mental game is being taught the
right way and is implemented into practice
daily. I realized Brain was bringing even more
to the table than what I was doing on a daily
basis. Our bullpen atmosphere became more
intense, our environment became more
competitive, our players response was
incredible! Brian has made a tremendous
commitment to our program! He has kept in touch
with our players and coaches and is committed to
maintaining relationships and making a
difference. If coaches want to make an
investment that in will be the MOST VALUABLE
investment possible for THE PLAYERS, invest in
time with Brian they will enjoy every minute of
it and your program will grow tremendously!"
Scott Jackson, Pitching Coach
University of North Carolina, Wilmington
"Baseball
is a game that is tough both physically and
mentally. Coach Cain has helped my program
tremendously by using his mental skills training
with me, my staff and my players. He has given
me more confidence as I approach my practice
plans as well as my game plans. He teaches that
the process and end result is a product of doing
things well. This philosophy helped us this
past year as we were a young team. My players
are better baseball players and better men since
Coach Cain has introduced his program to us."
Eric Degre, Head Baseball Coach
North Country Union High School
Brian Cain's vision for providing athletes
with the ultimate tool is a refreshing process
and the key to unlocking an athlete's true
potential. As a former minor league pitcher
with the Oakland Athletics & Boston Red Sox
organizations, I felt unprepared mentally at
that time in my life. Had this resource been
available to me back then, it would have greatly
aided in my full development, making my
professional experience a more enjoyable and
successful one. Exposing and providing skills
for implementing easy-to-understand aspects of
sports psychology (preparation, breathing, body
language, and positive self-talk) will lead to a
resurgence of young athletes who value a belief
system and recognize the importance of mental
training and personal growth for life"

"I've been around baseball for the past 30+
years, from Little League through NCAA D-1. I've
seen, heard and read a lot in that time, and I'm
rarely impressed. Among the few who have
impressed me is Brian Cain. I can tell from his
writing that he knows baseball. Some guys can
play, some can coach. Few can teach and
communicate as well as Brian. I never miss his
columns, and often learn something new and
useful. If you play or coach baseball, you need
to keep up on what Brian has to say. Your game
will benefit as a result."

"Brian, I viewed your DVD on HITTING: The
MENTAL GAME and I really enjoyed it. I showed
it to our Winchester Post 21 Legion team and The
kids LOVED it. It was great seeing them "take
control" of themselves at the plate during their
"routines" Thanks for making a difference in
our season."
Jeff Milburn

"In my 32 years of coaching I always
worked on the physical aspect of the sport,
usually trying to inspire by giving pep talks.
Brian Cain put an entirely new perspective on my
thinking. His presentation was not only
inspiring and informative to our team, but it
made me a believer in his message. Our players
not only used his teachings in baseball, but it
helped them to become better students in the
classroom. I look forward to working more with
Brian and encourage any coach who wants to be
successful to call him today. You can thank me
later."

athletes all over the world including Major

90% physical and 10% mental, yet competitions
are often 90% mental and 10% physical. Cain

Brian Cain and I have seen him work with
fighters ranging from UFC World Champions to
fighters getting ready for their first amateur

fighter to fight their best when it means the
most. Mental Training is a training just like
weight training or training your stand up skills

"Your course was a great experience for me
personally and professionally. First and
foremost it made me reflect on my own practices
in the field of sales and like any good doctor
would (don't diagnose a problem without offering
help) Brian then offered us a wealth of
information and strategies to improve, develop
and implement best practices. This was a very
motivating course and I got a lot of good
practical applicable information."

"There are very few

"Using media,
personal stories, and great sports analogies,
Brian demonstrates how to implement the mental
game, team building, confidence and other key
aspects of sports psychology to any sales team,
as well as one’s career and personal life. His
calm demeanor, incredible knowledge of the
subject, and wonderful sense of humor kept me
relaxed yet interested throughout his entire 30+
hour Peak Performance Sales Training Course. My
only regret is that I didn’t take this course
sooner."

"Brian Cain has worked closely with me on the
annual Vermont High School Athletic Leadership
Conference. Brian brings a contagious enthusiasm
and strength of character to every
responsibility he assumes. He clearly is "into"
everything he does, from communicating with
athletic directors, coaches, parents and
students, to motivating groups anxious to lend
an ear. He enters each situation with a passion
and honesty which is both refreshing
as well as motivating. He engages people, and
respectfully challenges them to make their
dreams become a reality. Brian is one of those
special people who always make you feel better
after you talk with him. I would encourage
everyone to make the contact. You will be a
better person for the effort."

"I worked with Brain for two years as his
advisor while he was working on his Masters
Degre in Applied Sport Psychology at Cal State
Fullerton. I was impressed with his tremendous
work ethic, motivation and knowledge of the
mental game. He has a gift to teach the
psychological aspects of performance with
athletes and performers of all levels. If you
want to improve your performance in the mental
game, Brian should be your next call.

"Coach Cain's firm beliefs in the mental aspects
of the game are key to finding success at all
levels of competition. He helped me develop the
mental aspects of my game while I was preparing
for an important try-out after sitting out for
six months of competition due to knee surgery.
The skills he taught me helped me to excel in my
tryout, but more importantly, they continue to
help me find success on a daily basis. Coach
Cain's program is one that all athletes should
follow if they want to enhance their game and
broaden their window to improve."
Sarah Madey, Captain
University of Vermont, Womens Basketball
"I have known Brian Cain for the last six
years. His ability to teach the Mental Game to
players and coaches at any level is
outstanding. His ideas and strategies for
implementing change are unique and effective.
He was a head coach at our school and I was so
impressed with what he taught our athletes that
I decided to enroll in his Introduction to Sport
Psychology class at The University of Vermont.
I got more out of his class than any workshop or
clinic I have attended in the last 20 years. If
you want to provide a learning experience for
your coaches and athletes that will change their
lives, you need to let them hear Brian Cain. It
will be the best money you ever spend."

"I am fortunate enough to have worked with Brian
Cain on several occasions. The first time was in
2002 when he came to Holland for the first
time. We worked closely together within our
Baseball Club, Robur'58. I have seen Coach Cain
work with all levels of Baseball players,
coaches and even businessmen. Coach Cain did a
tremendous job helping out with our entire
program and was an integral member of our
coaching staff. Coach Cain is always full of
energy and has tremendous knowledge and passion
for the Mental Game of Baseball, and life as
well. If you want to improve your Mental
approach to Baseball or build a championship
team in any sport, look for Coach Cain!"
Joris Verheijen

"In
two short hours with Brian I witnessed an
incredible transformation. My Lacrosse
team
started as a bunch of kids who were excited for
their season, and finished as athletes focused
on playing at their peak potential. Brian gave
our team a sense of identity and unity to help
us reach a common goal. Step by step we learned
how to use the process of the entire season to
help us reach the ultimate goal, playing at our
full potential as a team. I would highly
recommend Brian Cain for any athletic program
serious about having success."
Dean Corkum, Boys Lacrosse Coach

"Brian is a great teacher and his classes are
very interesting. They are full of activities
and excitement. I was engaged and I learned a
lot. I have played sports most of my life and
this information is very helpful. Especially
since I have played on guys teams and sometimes
that is a challenge in itself because you have
to prove yourself more. I wish I would have
taken this class earlier because it would have
strengthened my mental game that much more. I
think the mental game is key and Brian knows how
to help you improve your mental game. He uses
great activities and videos to help you. I would
recommend this class or talking to Brian to
everyone if you want to improve your game."

"I worked with Brian Cain closely in preparation
for the 2005 Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl between the
best seniors in the state of Vermont versus
those from New Hampshire. The Shrine Maple
Sugar Bowl is a charity event whereby 36
all-stars from the state of Vermont play against
their counterparts from the state of New
Hampshire. Coaching the team presents distinct
challenges. The first is that New Hampshire has
a much greater population with a much later
talent pool. Vermont has won 13 times in the
last 52 meetings. Secondly, the 36 Vermont
players came from different schools and
programs, some of which are fierce rivals; and
they must bond together as a team in only ten
days. Coach Cain exercised his skills in team
building and confidence building with our
players and staff in preparation for the game.
He conducted nightly forums to achieve our
goals.
I can state without hesitation that at the end
of our ten day practice periods, the Vermont
unit had developed into a united team and
believed that they could compete equally against
New Hampshire which possessed superior size and
strength.
Although, Vermont did not win the Shrine game,
they played well as a team with confidence, and
certainly were not intimidated by the opponent.
Coach Cain was largely responsible for this
result through his professional efforts."
Robert Davis, Head Coach

"Working with Coach Cain helped me improve the
mental aspects of my game. His instruction
continues to help me improve daily as a football
player and person."

"I have had the pleasure of working with Coach
Cain for the past 4 years and his training in "
The Mental Part of the Game" has proved
invaluable. In addition to coaching at the High
School Varsity level, I also coach Youth
Football and have incorporated his techniques at
this level. The younger kids absorb the training
like sponges, and I know I am giving them a huge
head start, not only athletically, but in
life-lessons as well. I have also discovered
that my high school athletes apply his
philosophy in the classroom as well as the
field, pushing them higher in the academic
"field". His energetic approach to this
training and the style he uses to ingrain it
will leave you and your kids ready to take on
the world, knowing you have conquered the
toughest part, the "Mental Part". Having applied
his training to my professional career, I have
seen immediate benefits. Whether you are a
player, coach or professional, Coach Cain's
training is crucial in getting ahead on the
field, in the gym or in the workplace!!
Joel Kynoch, Football Coach
"I had the opportunity to take a sports
psychology with Brian this past semester at The
University of Vermont. I was given the
opportunity to work with him outside of class as
well. In my experiences with Brian I can tell
you that he has the tools and the knowledge to
relate to any group, and make an enormous
impact. He will give you the necessary actions
to take your game or business to the next level.
If you are looking to get the edge over the
competition or just for personal empowerment,
contact Brian. You will be glad you did."
Matt Bombardier, Football Coach
Colchester High School
"The knowledge that Brian Cain has for the
mental aspect of athletics, and the enthusiasm
with which he shares this information has the
potential to enhance any team or individual
athletes sports performance. After taking
Brian's course and being able to use these
tactics with my own teams, it was great to see
that the information was relevant and extremely
helpful for participants in sports at the youth
level as well as for student-athletes at the
collegiate level. Brian's presentation also
allowed for me as a coach to enhance my mental
game. Whether it is today as a coach, or how I
was a player myself a few years ago. I was able
to analyze how I played and prepared when I was
at the youth and college level, and share those
experiences with my players. Its a great way to
find another avenue to connect on with players.
Whether you are an athlete at the youth, college
or professional level, or a coach looking
to improve your teams mental game, Brian Cain
can help bring your athletes to the next level."
